Driven by a lifelong love of design and an equal affection for Lake Tahoe, interior designer Justin Moore relocated to South Lake Tahoe in 2020 with his husband Steve and their two dogs, Buffy and Chip. What started as a passion project designing their first Tahoe home quickly grew into a career in residential interiors.
Developing his expertise at a local design firm as Lead Interior Designer, Justin managed multi-million dollar projects and played a key role in earning the firm's first two design awards from Tahoe Quarterly and the Contractor's Association of Truckee Tahoe. He then launched Justin Moore Interiors to focus on what he loves most: partnering with people to create homes that look beautiful and tell their story.
Justin specializes in full-scale renovations, new construction, and furnishings, with a signature style he calls "warm modern," a blend of modern, contemporary, and traditional elements that feels both curated and livable. His process starts with listening and learning about his clients' needs, and then translates concepts into detailed 3D visuals and builder-ready technical drawings so they can feel confident every step of the way. Whether working on a complete renovation or new construction, Justin brings a thoughtful, tailored approach to every project, creating spaces that bring his clients’ vision home.Â
